The concept of a Hub must be seen as a special page allowing the user to simply pass the results of a tool to either a viewer or to another tool without the need to cut&paste.

Known problem: some browsers arbitrarily truncate the content of the text area - try upgrading your browser.

Types of Hubs
Protein Hub
  • This Hub takes a protein identifier or list of protein identifiers as input.
MSA Hub
  • MSA stands for Multiple Sequence Alignment.
  • This Hub takes an MSA identifier or a multiple sequence alignment (formats: ClustalW, MSF or MFA) as input.
  • Some of the services offered in this page (e.g. SEView) only work properly with MSAs of proteins actually registered in the MyHits sandbox. Other services (e.g. BoxShade) should correctly handle foreign sequences.
